SAN'IN KERALA SHORT TERM INTERNSHIP
SHORT TERM INTERNSHIP FOR INDIAN TALENTS
1. Overview
This program aims to connect IT companies in the “Lake Nakaumi, Lake Shinji, and Mt. Daisen Area”—an area in Japan centered on Tottori and Shimane Prefectures—with top-tier IT talent from India.
In Japan, the shortage of IT professionals is currently a major challenge, and there is a growing need to secure talent from a global perspective. At the same time, young engineers from India are highly regarded worldwide, and their knowledge and technical skills are extremely attractive to Japanese companies.
Through this program, Indian students can learn about new cultures and work styles while applying their skills through hands-on work experience at Japanese IT companies. Gaining practical experience in a Japanese workplace and participating in team-based development activities will provide valuable experience that will greatly benefit their future international careers.
What is the Lake Nakaumi, Lake Shinji, and Mt. Daisen area like?
The Lake Nakaumi, Lake Shinji, and Mt. Daisen Area, where the internship takes place, is a peaceful area rich in nature facing the Sea of Japan. It is home to the sunsets over Lake Shinji, the majestic mountain ranges of Mt. Daisen, beautiful hot spring resorts, and a region where much of the traditional culture remains preserved.
Although it is a rural area, IT companies and research institutions are scattered throughout the region, allowing you to concentrate on your work and studies in a peaceful environment. Additionally, the local people are warm and very kind to foreigners.
Furthermore, since the city and related organizations provide support for lodging and daily living, even those visiting Japan for the first time can participate with peace of mind.
For those who wish to work in Japan in the future or engage with Japanese companies on a global scale, this program offers a chance to take that first step.
